Day 19 - Day 19 - The Holy Spirit Our Guide
All of us have been lost at one time or another in our lives. I remember the days when we had to get directions from the corner service station, someone on the street or view a paper map (remember that!).
Now we have GPS (Global Positioning Systems) in our cars; this system provides users with Positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT). GPS is user friendly and gives voice directions to the driver during the drive. As with all technology it has to be updated regularly to ensure the directions it provides are accurate.

The world we live in can be dark and confusing at times. Getting lost and being lost is a part of living and will always be a part of life.
God has given us to Holy Spirit to guide us in this dark and dismal world. The Holy Spirit becomes an earthly shepherd to guide us through the valleys, the mountains, the lows, the peaks, and the joys of life. The Holy Spirit’s GPS doesn’t need updating; it is always current, and He knows where He is leading us will not result in us being lost.
As David wrote, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters (Psal 2m3:1-2). Let us plug into the GPS of God.
Heavenly Father, thank you for sending the comforter to guide us and lead us on this journey from earth to heaven.
